The 7-Day Test: What Your First Week at somofit Actually Looks Like

Starting a new fitness routine or gym membership can feel like a big commitment.

You’re investing your time, energy, and money into something you hope will become part of your life. The challenge is that most gyms ask you to make that decision after a single visit, one class, or a quick walkthrough.

We think that’s a lot to ask.

That’s why we created the somofit 7-Day Intro. Instead of trying to decide after one workout, you get a full week to experience the classes, coaches, recovery offerings, and community for yourself.

Why 7 Days Instead of One Free Class?

A single class can tell you whether you enjoyed a workout.

A week can tell you whether a fitness club fits your life.

Seven days gives you time to:

  • Experience different class formats
  • Meet multiple coaches
  • Explore the recovery offerings
  • Learn the schedule and routine
  • See how the club fits into your week
  • Decide whether the community feels like the right fit

Most importantly, it gives you enough time to make an informed decision.

No pressure. No auto-renewal. Just a week to see what somofit is all about.

What Your First Week Might Look Like

Your First Visit

Whether you schedule a tour beforehand or arrive early for your first class, we’ll help you get oriented.

You’ll see the Komplex Room, the Flow Room, the recovery space, and the locker rooms. We’ll answer questions, help you sign your waivers, show you how to book classes, and point you toward sessions that align with your goals and experience level.

You don’t have to figure everything out on your own.

After a Few Classes

By your second or third visit, you’ll start getting a feel for the rhythm of the club.

You may discover a favorite coach. You might find yourself enjoying a class format you never expected to like. You’ll start to understand how strength training, movement, recovery, and consistency all work together.

This is often where people begin to see what makes somofit different.

By the End of the Week

By the end of seven days, you’ll have experienced much more than a workout.

You’ll know what the classes feel like. You’ll know whether the schedule works for you. You’ll have experienced the community, the coaching, and the recovery offerings.

Most importantly, you’ll know whether somofit feels like a place you can see yourself coming back to.

Making the Most of Your 7 Days

A week goes by quickly, so a little planning can help you get the most out of your intro.

Start With a Tour

Many people like to begin with a tour before their first class.

Booking a tour or giving us a call ahead of time allows us to make sure someone is available to give you our full attention and answer any questions you may have.

You’re also welcome to arrive early for your first visit and we’ll help you get oriented before class.

Pre-Book Your Classes

One of the best ways to evaluate somofit is to experience a variety of classes.

Try a mix of:

  • Komplex strength and conditioning classes
  • Flow classes such as Hot Sculpt, Vinyasa or Restorative Yoga, Hot Barre, and Stretch & Mobility
  • Recovery offerings including sauna, cold plunge, and red light therapy

You may be surprised by what becomes your favorite.

Ask Questions

Not sure where to start?

Wondering which classes fit your goals?

Curious about recovery, strength training, mobility, or scheduling?

Ask us.

Our coaches and front desk team are here to help you make the most of your week.

Remember: It Doesn’t Have to Be Seven Hard Workouts

The goal of the 7-Day Intro isn’t to cram seven intense workouts into seven days.

Your intro pass is valid for seven consecutive days from your first visit, but that doesn’t mean you need to work out every day. In fact, one of the best ways to evaluate a fitness routine is to experience both training and recovery.

If you want to visit throughout the week, consider mixing things up.

You might take a strength class one day, a yoga class the next, spend time in the recovery area another day, or enjoy a restorative or stretch class between more challenging workouts. You may even decide to take a day off entirely and return feeling refreshed.

Sometimes the best way to understand a fitness routine is to experience all the pieces that make it sustainable.

Frequently Asked Questions

What should I wear?

Wear workout clothes that you feel comfortable moving in.

For Komplex classes and the Open Gym, closed-toe athletic shoes are required.

For Flow classes, shoes are not worn in the studio. Because the room is infrared heated and temperatures can reach up to 100°F, many members prefer more lightweight, breathable clothing.

What should I bring?

A water bottle is always a good idea. You’ll find filling stations throughout the club.

We provide workout towels and shower towels for members and guests.

If you’re taking a Flow class, we recommend bringing your own yoga mat and towel if you’re able. Mats are available to borrow if needed.

If you’re not sure what to bring or wear for your first visit, just ask. We’re happy to help.

What if I miss a day?

The 7-Day Intro runs for seven consecutive days from your first visit, but that doesn’t mean you need to come every day.

Many people use their week to experience a mix of strength training, yoga, recovery, open gym workouts, and rest days. The goal isn’t to fit seven workouts into seven days. It’s to get a realistic sense of how somofit fits into your routine and what a sustainable approach to fitness can look like.

If you miss a day, that’s perfectly okay. We’d rather you listen to your body and enjoy your week than feel pressure to maximize every day of your pass.

What if I’m completely new to fitness?

That’s exactly why we’re here. Every movement can be modified, and our coaches are trained to help members of all experience levels. Whether it’s your first workout or your first time back in a while, we’ll help you find the right starting point.

What if I’m experienced?

You’ll be challenged. Between our classes, recovery offerings, and open gym, there’s plenty here for experienced exercisers as well. Our coaches can also help point you toward classes and programming that align with your goals.

Can I book a tour before purchasing?

Absolutely. We’d love to show you around.

Many people choose to book a tour first so they can see the space, ask questions, and get a feel for the club before starting their week. If you decide you’re ready to get started, we can also help you purchase and activate your 7-Day Intro during your visit.

If you run into any issues purchasing online or simply prefer to talk with someone first, stop by the club or give us a call. We’re always happy to help.

The Bottom Line

The purpose of the 7-Day Intro isn’t to convince you.

It’s to give you enough time to experience the classes, coaches, recovery offerings, and community for yourself.

Throughout your week, our team will check in with you, answer questions, help you understand everything that’s included, and make sure you’re getting the most out of your pass. If you’re interested, we’re happy to explain membership options and help you find the best fit for your goals, but there’s never any pressure.

We also genuinely value your feedback. Whether you loved your experience or think there’s something we could have done better, we’d love to hear it.

By the end of the week, you’ll know whether somofit feels like the right fit.

And that’s exactly the point.
